    SEI's free 6 hour online RE100 Introduction to Renewable Energy course helps you learn about efficiency and general renewable energy, as well as introduces you to our online campus and to SEI. This course is highly recommended prior to taking any SEI technical training. You can check it out and get started here.

  • In-Person Courses - Additional Student Financial Responsibility

  • Students are responsible for all travel, lodging, and meals while taking in-person classes.* Solar Energy International does not provide any meals, lodging, or assistance with travel. Students who are taking in-person classes must plan accordingly. (*A few select courses do include meals, please refer to the full course description and email confirmation, or ask our student services department for more details). By checking this box you agree that you accept full responsibility and commit to having a full plan in place before your arrival to secure lodging accommodations and have enough funds to support your travel, stay, and meals for the duration of your class(es).

  • Certificate Program Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Certificate Program Cancellation and Refund Policy: Students not accepted to the school are entitled to all moneys paid. Students who cancel this contract by notifying the school within three (3) business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. Students, who withdraw after three (3) business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid except the maximum cancellation charge of $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less. In the case of students withdrawing after commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of contact hours attended (if training is offered as distance education: “based on the percentage of no. of lessons completed”). The refund is based on the official date of termination or formal documented withdrawal. If you are unable to complete your course due to illness or natural disaster, please contact the administration office.

    If you cancel out of the program you will be charged according to our cancellation policy.
  • I acknowledge and agree that, upon acceptance into the payment plan program, should I fail to pay tuition in full within 6 months after the start date of the last course or workshop, Solar Energy International shall be entitled to recover interest, all reasonable costs and expenses of collection and/or suit, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees. Payments more than 30 days past due shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% APR) from the date the payment is due. If payments required by this agreement are not paid when due, the entire principal amount outstanding shall at once become due and payable. This provision applies regardless of whether Solar Energy International files a legal action. All rights concerning the foregoing remedies and the right to recover attorneys fees shall survive any termination of this agreement.
